Air India Business Class - Gold Panning And The Great Outdoors
You'd be surprised at all the places you can find gold. You can find oodles of websites about gold prospecting. I don't see any articles on this subject. Our new hobby. Gold panning.
Georgia, we headed down to Dahlonega, that night after my husband got off work, something spontaneous; so we did something we never do. We should do that', 'hey, i looked at my husband and said! So this greatly interested us, my husband and I were rock collectors as children. We came across the 'cash and treasures' show, (you all know what I'm talking about), trying to find something to watch, flipping through the stations, while watching tv. We're usually complaining how there's not a lot to do for people our ages. My husband and I were spending our weekend at home as usual, back at the beginning of summer.
We both got 'the fever', i can only say! I can't explain it, well! That, it's a feeling that. And you see the little flakes and tiny nuggets, there's something that happens when you look down in the pan. Or bucket, or bag, buy it by the pan. You can choose different amounts of sand to pan. Then we purchased a bucket of sand and gave it a try, we watched a video on how to gold pan, after arriving at our destination.
And even place your gemstone's in a setting, clean, for a fee they will cut. There are people standing right there that tell you what gemstones you have found. 'gem rubbin', it's called. And just wash off the dirt, you dump your rocks in, your given a wooden box with a screen in the bottom. You can stand or sit at a trough called a 'sluice'. The rocks in these buckets are gemstones. Not just any rocks. "ROCKS"! You can buy a bucket of rocks, for a fee of around $5.00. But also look for gemstones, that there are places where you can not only pan for gold, (due to the drought), as we found in our short lived travels, there are also.
Just thought this is something you should know. Not all the gemstones will be of good quality, however.
" We got the fever! But most of all: "We wanna find the gold! But the exercise is good for ya, it's takes some effort, yeah. And beautiful scenery just makes it even more enjoyable, and the fresh air. And have met lots of nice people, we love traveling. My husband and I are champin at the bit to get back out there.
